Help! Kim Kardashian has to ask for assistance after she drops her bag on floor in an incredibly tight dress

It's her most famous asset and U.S. reality TV star Kim Kardashian knows it.

But when she presents it to the world in a very short dress - as she does often - it can present some problems.

Such as when the curvaceous socialite drops her handbag, as she did outside a party in LA last night.

Kardashian, 29, floundered momentarily as she was faced with the possibility of bending over to pick it up, thus giving waiting snappers a dream photo.

But luckily help was at hand in the shape of a gentlemanly doorman who came to her rescue.

A knight from The Whisper Lounge, inside The Grove, spotted the damsel in distress and leaped into action, swooping in to grab the bag and return it to its helpless owner.

She looked pleased as punch when the bag was finally placed back in her hands, flashing a huge smile of relief.

Of course Kim was wearing a typically snug fitting dress, in white with miniature leopard print flecks on it, and a pair of black patent heels.

She was at The Whisper Lounge to attend the launch party for Bavara's Muscle Flex VATA Brasil Sports and Active Wear Collection, of which Miss Kardashian is a keen supporter.

Kim, who split with her NFL player boyfriend Reggie Bush last month, was accompanied by her stepfather Bruce Jenner and mother Kris at the event.

She took to her Twitter account earlier in the day to announce plans to travel to the Land Down Under later this month

The curvy brunette wrote: 'It’s official! Heading to Australia on April 19 to help launch MOTOBLUR handsets for Optus.'

Kardashian also recently hit out at whispers she'd had surgery to achieve her famous figure.

Sick of people assuming her full breasts, slim waist and shapely rear were crafted by implants and liposuction, she suggested people who think she has had cosmetic surgery take a look at other women with Armenian heritage..

She told Armenianpulse.com: 'It’s so funny because everyone assumes I have had plastic surgery to get the body I have but I always say, have you seen Armenian women before?

'I love the exotic look of Armenian women and am proud to be Armenian.'
