Alison King and her partner Adam Huckett have become parents for the first time.The Coronation Street star, who plays Carla Connor, gave birth to a baby girl at a Manchester hospital yesterday morning.
The little one weighed in at 6lbs 7oz.
‘Mum and baby are doing well,’ a show spokesman confirms. ‘Everyone sends Alison and Adam their best wishes.’
Alison and Adam, who is a sound assistant on Corrie, are yet to reveal the baby's name.
Alison, 35, is expected to return to the ITV soap in the autumn.
