Mel Gibson has split from his Russian girlfriend a year after his wife of 29 years filed for divorce because of his affair with the much younger woman, it was revealed last night.
The 54-year-old ‘Braveheart’ star is said to have ‘drifted apart’ from Oksana Grigorieva, 39, soon after she gave birth to their five-month-old daughter, Lucia.
‘They are both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They are still friends and they will both raise Lucia together,’ a close friend of the couple told People magazine.
